I have worked in education most of my life and I continue to be very interested in both K-12 and Higher Education. I am especially interested in topics related to educational technology, school leadership, student achievement, language, history, foreign culture, and politics. My research interests include change management and educational technology.
Currently I serve as the Director of Career and Technical Education for the Chinle Unified School District in the heart of the Navajo Nation. My background includes serving as the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at a private college, Academic Chair for both a physical and virtual campuses at a community college, Manager of Learning and Professional Development at a four-year university, an adjunct college instructor, a computer and social studies teacher at various middle schools and high schools, a principal of a private middle school in Mexico and a couple of positions as as a high school principal in Arizona.
